Delete Data
Remove your data while keeping your account
You can delete specific data types or all your data while keeping your Recappp account active.
Data Deletion vs Account Deletion
This page explains how to delete your data only. Your account will remain active and you can continue using Recappp. To delete your entire account, visit the Account Deletion page.
Delete All Data from the App
To delete all your data while keeping your account:
- 1Open Recappp on your device
- 2Go to Settings → Privacy
- 3Tap Delete All Data
- 4Confirm by typing "DELETE"
Delete Specific Data Types
You can selectively delete specific categories of data:
Spending Data
Settings → Privacy → Manage Data → Spending → Delete
Removes all transaction records and spending insights
Travel Data
Settings → Privacy → Manage Data → Travel → Delete
Removes flight records and destination history
Health Data
Settings → Privacy → Manage Data → Health → Delete
Removes synced health and fitness data
Photo Metadata
Settings → Privacy → Manage Data → Photos → Delete
Removes photo metadata and memory highlights
Disconnect Data Sources
To stop syncing and remove access to a data source:
- 1Go to Settings → Connected Accounts
- 2Tap on the data source (Gmail, Health, Photos)
- 3Tap Disconnect
- 4Choose whether to Keep or Delete existing data
Request via Email
You can also request data deletion by email:
- • Email: support@recappp.app
- • Subject: Data Deletion Request
- • Include your account email and specify what data to delete
We'll process your request within 48 hours.

Deleted
- ✓Transaction and spending records
- ✓Travel and flight data
- ✓Health metrics and activity logs
- ✓Photo metadata
- ✓Generated recaps and insights
Retained
- •Your account and login credentials
- •Subscription status
- •App preferences and settings
Deletion Timeline
Export Before Deleting
Want to keep a copy of your data? Export it first:
- 1. Go to Settings → Privacy → Export Data
- 2. Select the data types to export
- 3. Choose format (JSON or CSV)
- 4. Tap Export and save the file
